Terms of Service

By accessing or using RocketFeed, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the service.

1. Description of Service

RocketFeed is a financial news aggregation platform designed to help users stay informed about financial markets through personalized content.

The platform organizes publicly available financial information and uses automated technologies, including artificial intelligence, to present summaries and insights based on user-selected interests such as portfolio holdings or watchlists.

2. User Eligibility and Account Security

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the RocketFeed service.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account login credentials.
• Ensuring that any information provided to the platform, including portfolio holdings or watchlists, is accurate.
• Immediately notifying RocketFeed of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions, Free Trial and Billing

3.1 Free and Pro plans

RocketFeed offers a free plan and a paid subscription plan (“Pro”). The free plan gives you access to the news feed, AI summaries, portfolio tracking and a limited daily digest refresh. Pro additionally includes:

• More frequent digest refreshes — up to four times a day for every portfolio, compared with once a day on the free plan.
• Multiple portfolios — up to three, compared with one on the free plan.
• News source controls — choose which sources appear in your feed.

We may change what each plan includes. If a change materially reduces what your paid plan provides, we will notify you in advance as described in Section 3.7.

3.2 Prices

• Pro Monthly — US$4.99, billed every month.
• Pro Annual — US$39.99, billed every 12 months.

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply in your country, which will be shown at checkout where applicable.

3.3 Free trial

New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. Where a trial is offered:

• A valid payment method is required up front. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• The trial converts into a paid subscription automatically at the end of the 7 days, and your payment method will be charged the price of the plan you selected, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Trial eligibility is determined by our payment providers and is generally limited to one per customer and payment method. If you are not eligible, the paid price applies from the start and this will be shown before you confirm.
• If you cancel during the trial, you keep access until the trial ends and are not charged.

3.4 Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them. At the end of each billing period, your subscription renews for another period of the same length and your payment method is charged the then-current price, unless you cancel beforehand.

3.5 Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the subscription management page linked in the app, or by emailing us at the address in Section 16. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not end the period you have already paid for.

You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period, after which your account returns to the free plan. Portfolios and settings created while on Pro are not deleted, but features beyond the free plan’s limits stop being available.

3.6 Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time in a billing period. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at the address in Section 16 and we will review it in good faith.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

3.7 Price changes

We may change subscription prices. Any change applies from your next billing period, and we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app before it takes effect, so you can cancel before being charged the new price.

3.8 Payment processing

Payments are processed by our payment providers, RevenueCat and Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your use of the checkout is also subject to those providers’ own terms, and their handling of your payment data is described in our Privacy Policy.

3.9 Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it for a limited period. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription will end and your account will return to the free plan.

4. Financial Disclaimers and Risk

4.1 No Financial Advice

RocketFeed does not provide personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All information provided through the platform—including news articles, summaries, alerts, and portfolio-related insights—is for informational purposes only. Nothing within the platform should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial asset. RocketFeed does not execute trades or act as a licensed brokerage firm.

Subscribing to Pro does not change this. A paid plan provides more frequent and more configurable information; it does not provide advice, and it does not make any information more reliable.

4.2 Market Risk Disclosure

Financial markets involve risk, and the prices of securities and other financial instruments may fluctuate significantly. You acknowledge that:

• Past performance does not guarantee future results.
• Financial markets are unpredictable.
• Investment decisions involve risk of loss.

RocketFeed is not responsible for any financial losses resulting from investment decisions made using information from the platform.

4.3 Data Accuracy Disclaimer

RocketFeed aggregates content from publicly available third-party sources and automated processing systems. While we aim to provide useful information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content displayed within the platform. Content may contain errors, delays, or outdated information. You must independently verify all financial information before making decisions.

5. Third-Party Content and Links

The service relies on linking to external, third-party news sources and websites. RocketFeed has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, accuracy, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by RocketFeed. You acknowledge and agree that RocketFeed shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the RocketFeed platform—including text, graphics, logos, and software—are owned by or licensed to RocketFeed and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• Third-Party Content Ownership: Aggregated news content and source links remain the exclusive property of their respective publishers and sources.
• License to You: RocketFeed grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial use, strictly in accordance with these Terms.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from platform content without prior written permission.

7. Acceptable Use

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use of the service.

Users may not, and agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate financial markets using the platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data or content from the platform.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
• Redistribute or republish platform content without prior written consent.
• Use the platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
• Create multiple accounts in order to obtain repeated free trials, or otherwise circumvent plan limits or billing.

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of RocketFeed is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination and Suspension

• Termination by RocketFeed: RocketFeed reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or for any other reason in our sole discretion.
• Termination by User: You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions within the platform or by sending a request to the contact email listed in Section 16.

Upon termination, your right to access the service will immediately cease. If we terminate a paid subscription without cause before the end of a period you have paid for, we will refund the unused portion of that period.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RocketFeed and its operators expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

RocketFeed makes no warranty that (i) the service will meet your requirements, (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RocketFeed and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (i) your access to or use of the service; (ii) your violation of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (iv) your negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RocketFeed and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

In no event shall RocketFeed’s total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of the claim. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. This choice of law does not, however, limit any mandatory consumer protection rights that you may benefit from under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of RocketFeed will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

For all legal proceedings, you and RocketFeed agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the platform or via the email address associated with their account. Continued use of RocketFeed after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
